Joined the Canadian Air Force in 1982. Graduated from the Flight Academy in 1984. Flew SeaKing Helicopters from Destroyer Ships until 1989. In 1989 I switched to Jets and then took an early retirement in 1995. The family moved to Saudi Arabia for two years while I trained the Saudi Air Force. Moved back to Canada and set up shop in Vernon, BC. We lived in Vernon until 2001 when we moved to South Surrey. I am currently employed as a 747 Captain for Cathay Pacific Airways out of Hong Kong. My wife and I are currently enjoying life in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and happily retired!
School Story:
I was lost in school and didn't know where I belonged. It wasn't until 1982 that I realized the sky was the limit and airspeed was my friend! Flying with the Air Force was the cure!
